African-American Leaders for Life Summits
We continue to receive powerful reports demonstrating the impact of our African American Leaders for Life Summits in Dallas, Detroit, and Hartford. We are grateful for those of you who attended and supported Care Net and the pro-life movement. Our aim was to inform and inspire local leaders through a variety of pro-life speakers and topics; so that, they would leave engaged and empowered to help turn the tide of abortion in America. By the grace of God, that is what we did.
Please pray that the Lord would bless us to continue to sponsor events that will emphasize the importance of creating a culture of life in the African American community. To that end, we are also urging you and your ministry organization to pray fervently to end the practice of abortion. It is our sincere hope that you will be able to attend future events, meetings, and seminars which will make you aware of the vital ministry that Care Net provides through our pregnancy centers and other services. We firmly believe that the key to reducing abortions in urban America lies with the Black Church, and we would like to serve leaders like you by giving you the information and tools that you need to save the lives of black women, men and babies.
Finally, we encourage you to pray and talk to other leaders who you think may need to hear this message, stay connected with Life Ambassadors, host a Maafa 21 screening, and find out about local Care Net pregnancy resource centers. Also, we would like to send a personal invitation to you to attend Care Net’s Prayer Rally in Nashville, TN on October 9th. We will be gathering prolife leaders from many different organizations, churches, and cultures to pray for a restoration of life in our country.
