2013 Life Ambassadors Leadership Forums

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.  Over the last forty years no other area has been more devastated than America's urban communities.  Today Black and Hispanic women comprise well over 50% of all abortions in our nation, while making up only 27% of the female population.  Most of these abortions take place in large cities around the country.  Today in New York City the abortion rate is 42% and in Richmond, VA it is 50%.  In the black community these rates are even higher. 

At Care Net we are committed to reversing these trends in America's urban pockets.  That is why we will host a series of Leadership Forusm for doctors and health care professionals, clergy, government officials and media personnel.  These Leadership Forums are half day events that are designed to engage, inform and educate minority leaders on how we may begin to turn the tide of abortion in America. 

Leaders will hear from Care Net on how its 1170 centers are saving lives every day. Participants will also learn about Care Net's Urban Initiative and the latest studies on abortions in black and Hispanic communities.  They will also hear powerful stories of how the lives of women and men are being changed by God's grace through our new Pregnancy Decision Line.  Please sign up for one of these powerful, informative events today.

This will be a meeting of leaders in urban communities as they gather together to engage in understanding abortion and its effects on urban America. More details to follow.
