THE HOPE OF PREGNANCY CENTERS
Care Net and our network of more than 1,100 pregnancy centers offer hope to women facing unplanned pregnancies by providing practical help and emotional support. In the words of TIME magazine, pregnancy centers are the "kind, calm, nonjudgmental" face of the pro-life movement. Free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, abortion information, parenting classes, and material assistance are just some of the many services offered that empower women to choose life. As an umbrella organization, Care Net seeks to promote, prepare, and plant pregnancy centers across North America.
Along with our network of 1,100 affiliated pregnancy centers. Care Net seeks to reach abortion-minded women through technology platforms - online chat, email, texting, video, and live phone conversation - to connect with women in ways they feel most comfortable.
The ultimate aim of Care Net and its network of pregnancy centers is to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ in both word and deed. As a result, the hearts of women and men are being changed by Christ's love. In addition, those struggling with past abortions are finding God's healing and forgiveness.

Care Net Urban
Without access to the important resources provided by pregnancy centers, many women in urban communities who want to have their child are heavily influenced by a perceived lack of support should they choose life. All around, they receive the message that abortion is the only reasonable option. Based on this troubling reality, Care Net launched the Urban Initiative in 2003 to begin planting and promoting pregnancy centers in urban communities. These centers provide compassion, support, and the love of Jesus Christ to women in underserved urban communities. Leading this strategic initiative is Rev. Dean Nelson, Care Net’s Vice President of Underserved Outreach.
HOW IT WORKS
The Care Net Underserved Outreach encourages ministries and community leaders already serving the urban community to develop pregnancy centers in underserved areas. These ministries and community leaders understand the specific needs of the community and have established recognition and trust. Partnerships and ministry expansions also allow for efficient use of resources and shared responsibility of outreach efforts. Church ministry expansions are a particularly obvious fit because churches and pregnancy centers share a common mission to spread the Gospel, promote life, and change lives.
LOOKING TOWARD THE FUTURE
Care Net’s Underserved Outreach is making steady progress across the United States. Through continuing partnerships, Care Net is hopeful that one day every urban community will have access to the valuable resources and the message of Jesus Christ provided by pregnancy centers.
